Businesses for Wild Nature
Naturally Good for People and the Land

If you own a business and care about the health of our wild places and wildlife, as well as our region's economic health, please join Businesses for Wild Nature.

Protecting and restoring wild Nature is good for business, as well as for people and the land. In addition to the ecological, recreational, social, and health benefits of conserving areas of wild Nature close to home, our region's economy depends on keeping wild, protected natural areas a prominent part of our landscape.

Abundant forests and wildlife support tourism--a vital sector of our economy. But, even more significant is that protected wild land in close proximity to our cities, towns, and rural areas enhances our quality of life, thereby drawing a high quality work force, start-up entrepreneurs, and established businesses. Economists have demonstrated this phenomenon repeatedly, throughout our region as well as around the country.

In the future, values generously provided by designated wilderness areas, parks, and other conserved natural habitats, will likely prove even more crucial to the economic and social well-being of our human communities.

This part of our website is still under development, but we invite you to sign on below for more information. We will notify you when our endorsement letter, list of ways you can help, and other materials are online. Thank you so much for your interest.
